After I mentioned in Save Our Planet, Save Our Money that it will be a good choice to download our textbooks rather than purchasing new textbooks, I received an email asking where to download digital textbooks. Before we get to that point, I want to highlight several benefits of using e-books which are:

CafeScribe offers a collection of e-textbooks at over 50% lower price than retail price. The good thing about cafescribe is they provide the MyScribe software which allow us to read the digital textbooks in easier way including tools to highlight, bookmark, and make notes while reading the books. MyScribe also allow student to open two books at the same time.
CafeScribe is also a social network for student who want to make online study groups and share notes with other students.
Coursesmart have a large collection of e-books. It is founded and supported by the major 5 major textbooks publisher. The site claims to offer $57.46 average saving for every e-textbooks. However, there are some limitations which are they only let students to print out 10 pages at a time and have digital expiration codes.
Scribd claims to be the largest online library where student can read, publish, and share written documents including e-books, essays, and paper works. In here, we may also find some notes and paper works that are related to our subjects.
